Senior Pressure Vessel Engineer, Spain, Contract
My client is looking for a senior pressure vessel engineer for a 3 month contract in Barcelona, Spain. This Mechanical Engineer to be in charge of all technical activities related to the design and management of pressure vessels.
Reqs.
Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Mechanical or Materials or similar.
Minimum requirement 5 years experience in a similar function.
Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industry.
Knowledge of codes and standards such as ASME II, ASME VIII, ASME IX, AD-2000.
Knowledge of Autocad.
Fluent in English.
Fluent in French - Desirable but not essential
Main accountabilities:
Design and calculations of pressure vessels, storage tanks, drums, columns, heat exchangers, etc according to codes ASME, AD-Merkblatt...
Prepare technical specifications, material requisitions and documents for purchase order.
Technical bid tabulations and offers analysis.
Cheking and review of vendor's drawings and documents.
Coordination with other disciplines to define placement of nozzles, support, platforms, etc, on vessels.
Contract Length: 3months
Start Date: ASAP
Telephone/skype - possible face to face afterwards.
