Mechanical Engineer

Yoh has a 12 month opportunity for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER to join our client in Melbourne, FL.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform design and analysis tasks on complex mechanisms and structural design, including the use of composites and lightweight alloys, in a program team environment.
- Program support includes mission/requirements definition, concept generation, trade studies, design sensitivity/optimization studies, preliminary and final design, and assembly/integration and testing support.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
- Six (6+) years of applicable experience with CAD or Analysis tools exposure.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Experience in Pro-Engineer/Creo Solid Modeling software is preferred.
- Aerospace Structure/Mechanism design experience.
- Understanding of PLM (Product Life Management) tools, manufacturing experience, design to cost experience.
