MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Project involves the design of mechanical hardware components and assemblies using Pro/E and Ansys. The mechanical hardware (CNC and sheet metal) will be used on a server type validation platform.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Using Pro/E Creo (3D modelling, Assembly, Detailing, Sheet metal and Windchill) every day to design the mechanical CNC and sheet metal based components and assemblies
- Using Ansys to conduct the static stress analysis to optimize the design
- Working with other platform engineers in creating the mechanical keep-out zones and hardware component integration
- Interacting with several cross-geo and cross-functional teams in a collaborative way to deliver fast-paced deliverables
- Creating the detailed production drawings for the components and assemblies
- Working with suppliers to get the parts manufactured, testing the prototypes
- Doing the design reviews with other engineers on the team
- Working on ECAD/MCAD back and forth transformations for board modelling and validation chassis design

- PROE Expert
- ANALYSIS Advanced
- Mech. Engineering Advanced
- MS Office Suite Advanced
- BA/BS Degree
