Mechanical Engineer

I have an immediate requirement for a pressure vessel engineer to work in the North East of England, the role will involve carrying out design of products, including pressure vessels, quick opening end closures and pipeline pigging equipment detectors. Experience required can be found below: * Must have a minimum of two years design engineering experience. * Candidates should be degree or at a minimum HNC/D qualified and conversant with international pressure vessel and piping design codes, ASME, PD5500 and PED. * Good written and oral communication skills. * Design data/drawings, fabrication, inspection and test procedures * Pressure calculations, GA and detail drawings * Computer literate, proficient with ERP systems, 2D/3D CAD systems (Solidworks), Design Calculation software and MS Office packages.
