Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer with Fitness for Service experience to inspect and analyze pressure vessels. This is a Contract to Hire role located in the Texas Panhandle. Transportation, housing, and per diem are provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review vessel UTs and inspection reports for deferral of internal inspections. Analyze vessel failures.
- Provide minimum allowable thickness calculations for both documented and undocumented vessels in operation.
- Recommend repair, replacement, or alteration of existing vessels based upon UTs and inspection reports. Up-rate or de-rate exsting vessels based on current UTs and inspection reports.
- Analyze exisiting piping circuits for Fitness-For-Service and/or evaluate MAWP and MDMT for Cryogenic service

REQUIREMENTS

- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ of relative EPC experience
- Proficient in ASME Code, Compress, API 579, API510 7.7, and Piping Stress Analysis, CAESAR II
- Registered Professional Engineer in Texas prefered.
