Our client has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer (for a 12 month fixed contract).

The successful Mechanical Engineer will work within an engineering team of our clients chemical manufacturing plant based near to Grimsby, North Lincolnshire.

You will provide the mechanical engineering resource to progress work associated with on-going asset integrity management projects. This is a busy chemical manufacturing facility with a well driven engineering team working on a variety of plant improvement projects.

The successful candidate will be required to:

Deliver mechanical projects in our client top tier chemical manufacturing plant. We would like to hear from mechanical engineers who can provide technical asset solutions and specifications to our client chemical plant.

You should have Top Tier COMAH mechanical engineering experience along with experience of chemical processes and the challenges faced within manufacturing and H&S regulations. This opportunity is all about plant improvements and you must have solid mechanical engineering skills to implement these. You need to be capable of project plant improvement concepts through basic engineering and evaluation to a cost, using the most economical solutions.

You will be required to be effective immediately so you must have significant experience. Our client needs a talented mechanical engineer with skills gained in engineering and manufacturing of chemicals or very similar.

An Honors Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline and experience gained in plant asset management is essential.

COMAH experience in a chemical process environment highly desirable.
