Mechanical Engineer

A leader in power and automation technologies is currently seeking 2 Mechanical Engineers and a Design Engineer with automatic gage and test station process and coordination experience for axle and differential assemblies. There is also an Application Engineer position with a background in fluid process, design and implementation available. These positions are located in the Auburn Hills, MI area. These are 1 year CONTRACT positions, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates only, as there is no per diem offered for these positions. The pay rates listed are estimates. Please indicate your desired hourly pay rate for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan, design, and modify machinery, equipment and products
- Coordinate activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in an Engineering field
- 5+ years of automatic gage and test station process and coordination experience for axle and differential assemblies
- Knowledgeable with Ford Motor Co. and American Axle requirements preferred
- SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD design software experience a plus
