Mechanical Draughtsman

Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Draughtsman to assist with a SAP implementation and transfer of work (TOW)

Responsible for:
*Completing engineering change notes, including work on Pro/E, and our Legacy MRP system (MFG Pro)
*BOM verification and BOM scrubbing (MFG and Excel)
*Writing engineering change documentation and implementing changes
*Support sourcing with deflation activities when required - possible qualification testing and report writing

Skills & Experience:
*Proven competency/experience with Pro/E, and AutoCAD as a secondary requirement, but not essential
*Understanding of BOM's, part lists and structure of products
*Excellent communication skills, able to work within a team
*Use of Microsoft Software packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
*Respond effectively by producing accurate work within demanding deadlines
*Able to work autonomously

Location: Groby, Leicestershire
Job Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £36-37/hour
Duration: 6 months+
