Mechanical Designer - Pro / Engineer - Kent - 10 Weeks

A key client based in Kent is looking for a mechanical design engineer with Pro/Engineer experience. This will be for an initial 10 week project.

Role:
This role primarily involves the support and further development of existing bespoke mechanical systems.

The client is seeking an individual very experienced in developing mechanical solutions using Pro Engineer and AutoCAD.

The individual will be expected to research, design and draught components and assemblies for mechanical aspects of projects, product design from initial design though manufacture and delivery. She/he must also carry out 3D modelling & 2D design work whilst maintaining/ updating and modifying existing designs/ diagrams (including comprehensive documentation).

Skills:

1. At least 5 yrs experience in the Mechanical Design environment.
2. At least 3 yrs experience in designing with Pro Engineer Wildfire 4.0./ PDMLink
3. At least 2 yrs experience of using AutoCAD (2011/12).
4. Excellent hands on practical skills and excellent understanding/ sense of aesthetics, ergonomics.
5. HND or Degree in Mechanical Design or related technical discipline.
