MECHANICAL DESIGNER/DRAFTER, INVENTOR, MACHINERY, JOB #3905 - AKRON, CANTON, OHIO JOB #3905

Machinery design & build company south of Akron is looking for a Mechanical Designer/Drafter.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and detailing machinery and machine parts using Autodesk Inventor 3-D.

Hands-on Inventor skills are an absolute requirement for this opportunity. An undergraduate degree in engineering is not required but would be a significant plus.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Light design under the direction of staff engineers
- Sizing & sourcing of components
- Generation of 3D drawings and associative Bills of Material

Candidates with strong Inventor skills but lacking extensive machine design capabilities will be considered.
