MECHANICAL DESIGNER

ENGINEERING & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, VB PROGRAMMING, SAP, FRENCH

Our client is a large systems integrator (with $7 billion turnover and established facilities in 30 countries). They are in need of Mechanical Designers for their customer based in France, Paris .

Role: Mechanical Designer

Location: France

Duration: 6 months

Rate: Market rates

To design and complete the assigned design deliverables as per the project plan.

Additional requirement

General exposure to engineering & product development, testing and certification
Demonstrated autonomy in projects with certification/safety constrains (explosive atmosphere, or any domain with stringent safety-related requirements)
Work language is French.
Engineers will have to generate documentation in English.
Engineers should have also VB programming skills in Excel for automation.
Job will consist in a variety of tasks, related to the support of product development and testing/certification of instrumentation. On-the-job training will be provided, but an appropriate level of autonomy/experience is expected.
SAP knowledge a plus
Project will be executed at Condé and new engineers will have to work and get integrated with local engineering teams.
