A full service design and manufacturing company of oilfield products is looking to add a Mechanical Designer to their growing team in Boling, TX. This position is contract to full time and a direct hire can be considered for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drafts and prepares detail drawings of unusual, complex, or original design, working with design originators
- Creates designs from verbal or written instructions
- Performs assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and drafting expertise
- Ensures that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are resolved by the drawings produced
- May occasionally interpret general designs prepared by others to complete details

REQUIREMENTS

- Some Technical School or CAD training with 5+ years experience in applicable industry
- Strong CAD drafting skills, preferably SolidWorks
