Mechanical Design Engineer - West Yorkshire - up to £40,000 - Permanent This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work for a well established manufacturing company in West Yorkshire. They have an excellent reputation designing and manufacturing their products to their global clients. As a result of continued success an opportunity has arisen within their company for a Design Engineer to join the company on a full time basis. You will be pro-active member of the Mechanical Design team responsible for providing solutions for clients from initial concept outline to complete supply of the equipment. Candidate Profile: -Knowledge of manufacturing processes/techniques and best practice -Knowledge of special purpose machinery -Min of 6 years design experience -Innovative thinking and problem solving Essential Skills -Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and detailed customer specifications. -Designing special purpose machinery -User knowledge & design experience of 3D CAD (e.g. Solidworks, ProEngineer, Inventor, AutoCAD) Desirable skills -Shop floor experience -Knowledge of Jigs& Fixtures -Knowledge of CNC machining -UGS NX 3D Cad experience -Aerospace fixture design -Knowledge of Rotating equipment For consideration, please send your up to date CV to Mudiwa Mtungi at Huxley Associates
