Mechanical Design Engineer - TCE SAP ProE/Wildfire

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a 12 month contract assignment based in Kongsberg, Norway.

In the role of Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Design and guiding design teams in various projects, studies & tenders, and product improvement/development
- Implementation of processes in design and improvements to these
- Quality of design models (organization/structure of model), for the purpose of maximum reuse for future projects, or for the purpose of creating masters and standards
- Design reviews and drawings check
- Establishing 3D and 2D drawings

The ideal candidate for the role of Engineer should have:
- 10 years design experience within Mechanical Design
- Skilled in hand calculations and/or simplified calculations of strength
- Skilled in fabrication of fabrication follow up
- Experience with TCE, SAP and ProE/Wildfire
- Pro-Mechanica or equivalent
- NX knowledge would be an advantage
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Windows & Project.
- Eligibility to work in Norway (EU Passport/Work Permit Holder)
