Mechanical Design Engineer - Pro-E Wildfire

My client a Global Medical Device Organisation is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience of Pro-Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for design and prove mechanical solutions used for products.
Provide quality products, their testing and documentation release as required by regulations governing cancer therapy equipment.
Ensure timely release in order to achieve planned completion dates.
Provide support functions to interfacing departments and vendors for mechanical based design.
Develop and improve processes used by the engineering group.
Provide assistance to engineering management and team members.
Develop manufacturable creative and innovative design solutions for new and existing mechanical assemblies on products.
Manage workload to achieve project time lines.
Work with other departments, customers and suppliers to provide practical technical solutions.
Use experience and knowledge to assist in the production of defendable evidence of design robustness.
Must have a good working knowledge of procedures and work instructions.
To work closely with the project team, helping to guide design decisions on a technical level.
Give input to the checking process for verifying design solutions from other engineers.
Creation of feasibility studies for mechanical design.
Use of 3D design SW and CAD control software. Pro-Engineer Wildfire 4
Use of SAP or similar MRP system.
Produce auditable design documentation.
