Mechanical Design Engineer - Pressure Vessels

The Redline Group are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer Pressure Vessels to be responsible for pressure vessels design from customer specification. Our client is an industry leading, international company based in Berkshire and are looking for an individual that will be able to produce quality designs to ASME VIII and PD5500 codes.

The Role (Mechanical Design Engineer Pressure Vessels):
Develop 3-D and 2-D designs using AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor
Design pressure vessel designs from scratch
Progress existing concepts to a fully detailed design suitable for manufacture
Maintain accurate design records in accordance with company document control procedures
Prepare preliminary material lists based on design specifications

About You:
AutoCAD experience essential
Knowledge of ASME VIII and PD5500 essential
Work with minimal supervision
Self-motivated approach
Autodesk Inventor experience preferred
Caesar II or STAAD.Pro would be an advantage
