Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f)

A Mechanical Engineer with an expertise in FEM is required by a global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. The successful candidate will have a chance to work with state of the art technology and work alongside world-class engineers. If you are successful, you will contribute more than just mathematical predictions - your expertise combined with a flair for creative problem solving will generate ideas for use at the very forefront of the design process.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform (conceptual) FEM analysis. Validation of models by tests (pre/post test analysis)
- To drive the Finitie element analysis projects and strive to develop world class next generation semiconductor equipment
- Advice design engineer and architects
- Execute analysis plans and clearly communicate the status and results

Desired Skills bioimechanics; mechanics or materials or mechatronics.
- Must have 4 more years relevant working experience
- Must have Unigraphics 3D CAD modelling skills
- Finite element analysis (preferably Ansys and/or Hyperworks)
- Knowledge/experience in one or more of the topics below is preferred

o Theoretical and experimental knowledge/experience in the field of precision engineering
o Reliability/fatigue analysis
o Acoustic analysis o Structural optimisation
o Data processing/visualisation using MATLAB
o Experimental modal analysis
- Successful candidates must be able to work in the Netherlands without applying a work permit
