Mechanical Design Engineer - Interiors

I am currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for high end automotive interiors to work with a prestigious client based in the Oxfordshire area, I am ideally seeking candidates that can demonstrate the following skills and experience within the automotive interiors industry:

Key Responsibilities:
Technical responsibility for Design within the Interior systems
Utilisation of appropriate analysis tools to steer design and ensure specifications and requirements are achieved
Responsibility to sign off components design
Coaching and supervision of Graduate to senior engineers
Technical liaison with customers, suppliers and manufacturing
Support the Chief Engineer in recruitment activities and Team Leader and Chief Engineer in writing client quotations
Completion of 3D CAD component models/systems. Plus completion of 2D detail drawings of components
Supplier liaison, to enable completion of component designs
You are likely to be requested to lead projects; managing the team, budget, and timing
Write effective and appropriate reports to document your work. Sign off reports by more junior Engineers
Work to process, and support process improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidates:
Significant experience in automotive engineering, ideally interiors and mechanism/mechatronics systems, or complex consumer product design
Demonstrable ability in conceptual design particularly mechanisms, and or electro - mechanical systems, thorough understanding of geometric tolerancing
Highly developed understanding of Mechanical engineering principles. The application through use of design calculations would be an advantage
Good understanding of production manufacturing technologies, materials and fastening techniques
Strong core design skills and competence in materials selection and analysis
Familiarity with workshop activities such as fabrication, welding, CNC machining.
Proficient in CATIA V5. Must have experience in the deployment of surfacing tools
Detailed knowledge and experience with analysis techniques is an advantage
