Mechanical Design Engineer - Aberdeen - Global Leader

Progerssive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global service company in Aberdeen.

What will the successful candidate have?

* Proven experience in 3D modelling - essential
* Proven experience in hand calculations - essential
* Proven experience in FEA - essential
* Proven experience with downhole tools - essential

As this role will be a NPD focused role, the responsibilities will include the following:

* Complete tool design from concept to prototype manufacture
* Documenting test plans, design reviews, supervising testing programmes
* Prepare monthly project status reports for Engineering Manager
* Supervising and coordinating initial assemblies and dismantles of new design tools
