We are actively looking to employ Mechanical design engineer to work within a well-established organisation based inBristol. In this role you will design mechanical components for the automotive industry. The company is on a financial upturn and looking to bring on a multitude of engineers!

The role:

- Design and development of both conceptual and existing product ranges.
- Designing components to work within a mechanical environment.
- Use of 2D and 3D CAD systems; AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Using FEA to test the durability of designs.
- Working in a close tight-nit team with a wealth of engineering experience.
- Close liaison with electronic design engineers and production engineers.

The candidate:
- Strong mechanical design background with automotive experience.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD systems (non-specific).
- Will have an understanding of FEA to analyse and test designs.
