Mechanical Design Engineer - 12 Month Contract - Minneapolis

A market leading medical device company based in Minnesota has a phenomenal opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer will be involved in the design work for a new medical device product that is coming to the market. This is a 12 month contract that is paying $50.00-$60.00 per hour and has the ability to turn into a full time position at the end of the contract term.

This global medical device company is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to design the functionality of this new product. The Engineer will be involved in the following:

* Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems and components
* Create detailed solid models and drawings
* Efficiently communicate progress towards targeted milestones.
* Propose design ideas for the introduction of new device and process technologies.

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

- 4 + years of experience in Engineering or related field
- 4 + years experience in the Medical Device industry
- 2 + years CAD experience in either Solidworks or Pro/E
