Mechanical Design Engineer

A Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably with CIBSE membership, is required for a Local Authority. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD is required.

Required to produce scheme designs, calculations, AutoCAD drawings, and specification of Building Services to various Local Authority buildings including Education, Social Services and Corporate buildings including Leisure Centres.

The Design Engineer will need to demonstrate the ability to design, specify and project manage from inception to completion for all forms of Building Services. Generally, the engineer will have experience of heating, ventilation, hot and cold water systems, air conditioning and pool plant and equipment.

The candidate will be required to work within a team, responsible to the Building Services and Sustainability Manager, but should be able to carry out work with the minimum of supervision.
