MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

This is a job opportunity within Government for a contract position. It is also an excellent networking opportunity to move into different projects around the site and develop your career/experience.

This role is a Mechanical Design Engineer post based at RAF Henlow working within the Air defence and Air Traffic System Delivery Team. Your work will be working within team or RAF personnel on new installation and rectification work, primarily on antennas, radomes and wind sensitive structures. This may necessitate overseas travel and may require you to climb and work at height.

For this job a minimum of an ONC in Mechanical Engineering is required (or equal experience) and a good background in CDM (construction Design Manual), LOLER (Lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations, PUWER ( provision & use of work equipment regulations, MSHW ( management of safety health at work).
