My client is looking for a capable mechanical design engineer to work on a number of projects, predominantly within the energy industry. They are looking for a well-rounded engineer who is confident in all aspects of mechanical design as well as some FEA and calculations.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer should:-
-Be proficient using SolidEdge, although other similar 3d CAD design packages will also be considered-eg Solidworks
-Ideally have experience of precision engineering, machine components or rotating machinery
-Have some experience using Ansys and FEA for calculations
