Mechanical Design Engineer

I am looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer for a role in Coventry to start as soon as possible.

Experience Required:
Understand and conform to the standards contained in the Clients of Business Ethics Conduct.
Develop 3D Solid model concepts into working schemes
Produce detail drawings
Carry out appropriate design analysis
Participate in design reviews, tests and development activities
Liaison with component suppliers and sub-contractors.
Reports writing.
Be able to provide accurate work plan estimates and achieve objectives to aggressive schedules.
Competency in using the Microsoft Office suite of products.
Able to develop concepts and prototypes into production drawings to a high standard.
Use of stress analysis programmes.
Ability to support design concepts with analysis and calculation.
Ability to create product designs from Systems Requirements Specifications is fundamental.
3D CAD proficient (preferably Solid Edge, Solid Works and Unigraphics)
Calculations of Torque, Power, and Speed load.

Desirable Skills:
Design for production and design for assembly experience.
Ability to use ANSYS FEA software for linear static analysis would be advantageous.
Good communication skills are essential.
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team is essential.
Understanding EMC principals in regards to enclosure design.
Ability to read and understand harness drawings and checking through a harness to drawing.
Experience of Visio Drawing.
