Mechanical Design Engineer

Role: Product Design Engineer

Rate: Negotiable
Location: Bristol

Intapeople are working with a highly successful and innovative engineering company who have excellent facilities in the Bristol area. Due to a period of sustained growth there is a need for a number of experienced Product Design Engineers from a strong mechanical engineering background to work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers.

You will be required to manage projects from the initial concept design stages through to full life cycle and manufacture, to be considered for this role you will require the following skills:

- Concept product design experience
- Material selection - Injection moulding/plastics
- Experience of different CAD packages (Solidworks)
- Experience working on multiple and varied projects
- Project management - R+D, cost and timescales
- Understanding of engineering processes
- Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or similar
