Mechanical Design Engineer

My Houston based client have a current requirement for a Package Manager with experience in Mechanical Engineering in Gas Dehydration (TEG). The specification for the role is outlined below:

Duties:

- Manage Equipment Purchase Order submitted to Vendors.
- Oversee vendor fabrication progress
- Assure vendors are adhering to project requirements
- Assure vendors are meeting schedule and milestones
- Track vendor deliverables
- Perform as a single point of contact between vendor and project team
- Participate in all vendor weekly meetings
- Provide weekly progress reports to Project Manager
- Participate in all internal project status meetings
- Participate in Client progress reporting methods
- Periodic site inspections of manufacturing
- Review and approve inspection reports
- Attend FAT (Final Acceptance Test) with Client representative
- Final acceptance of equipment
- Assisting Logistics on shipping equipment to job site
- Verifying vendor has submitted all required documentation and final manuals
- Purchase Order close out
