Mechanical Design Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Senior / Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to work for an organisation based in Hampshire. Salary paying up to £45,000. You will be working for an organisation that are renowned for their engineering excellence and specialise in the design and manufacture of household appliances. You will be involved in cutting edge new product development as well as being involved in the ongoing support of their existing product lines. You will be working in a small project allocated team of 4 individuals including yourself who will be the Senior / Principal engineer. These engineers within your team will be reporting directly to yourself. The ideal candidate should have extensive Mechanical Design experience and a proven track record in taking products from concept to manufacture. In addition to having the experience you should also have experience in: - 3D CAD packages (ideally NX but can be flexible) - Motor Design / Drive Trains - Experience in Product Development ( Ideally domestic products but if not consumer) The following would also be beneficial but isn't essential: - Plastic Injection or Sheet Metal - Previous experience liaising externally with customers If you have the required experience and would like to find out more please get in touch ASAP.
