Mechanical Design Engineer

My Client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work within their established team based in Hertfordshire.

The role is based in the South East of England for one of my clients that deliver products and services for the threat & contraband detection, medical devices, energy, communications and engineered components markets worldwide.

Some of the key criteria for this role is as follows:
Familiar with the use of SolidEdge CAD tool
Security clearance to SC level is preferred but not essential (as this can be arranged for you)
Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a Design Team
Able to liaise with other teams within the company on a Technical level.
Good knowledge of design of equipment for similar markets (see above)
Understanding of Electronics Packaging in terms of Mechanical Design is also an advantage
