Mechanical Design Engineer

New Mechanical Engineering Role -West Midlands

An exciting company in theWest Midlandsfor a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing company in the Automotive sector. This role has been created due to an increase in projects and you will be joining an excellent team of engineers.

The company has been established for around 30 years and has continues to offer specialised engineering services to its clients in the Automotive sector. They are looking to take on a Junior Engineer and a more Senior person. You will be reporting directly to the Engineering Design Manager, and with growth, there may be an opportunity to progress.

You will be offered a salary of up to £35,000 plus OT, pension + more.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

-Designing and detailing conceptual products
-Producing calculations
-Documentation
-BOM

You will have experience with:

-Mechanical design of tooling / test rigs / jigs & fixtures (other industries may be considered, as long as it's within 'engineering / machinery)
-CATIA and Solidworks (ideally)
-Automotive or Aerospace (ideally)
-Dealing with and supporting customers

Location is commutable fromBirmingham,Coventry, Staffordshire,Tamworth, and Worcestershire.
