Mechanical Design Engineer

I have two contract roles available in the Teeside / North Yorkshire area for experienced design engineers. They are with a long term project in mind, but the initial contract will be for 6 months.

The main requirements of the role is firstly for someone who is experienced using Solidworks as a core design package. Secondly, you will be required to have some experience developing / designing products for the offshore industries (ie. Oil and Gas, Subsea, Renewable Energy, Marine etc).

The role itself is centered around new product development, following projects from conception and through testing / analysis phase so previous experience in this area is also essential.

As well as offering an excellent level of security for a contract position, these positions offer a superb opportunity to become involved with some genuinely interesting projects. There are already contract engineers working through Huxley Associates at this company so can be confident of the enjoyable working environment you will be going into. The company itself has a solid foundation in the area, but the continued growth of the Oil and Gas industry, has seen their work increase year after year
