Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer urgently required for prestigious Surrey based client. As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be working within the design team to develop and detail working designs, complete Structures & Subsystems designs using 3D modelling tool solidworks. The Mechanical Design Engineer will complete manufacturing drawings to enable the designs to be manufactured and support of manufacturing activities and inspections as well as complete Interface Control Drawings and be able to apply sound mechanical design principles in developing designs. The right candidate will have experience in documenting and implementing design changes using Engineering Change Notices (ECN). We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who has relevant experience in some or all of the following areas is essential:
Materials and manufacturing processes
Precision engineering in harsh environments
Mechanical design using 3D CAD (solidworks)
FE analysis (desirable but not essential)
Report writing
Costing and subcontracting
Customer liaison
Operation in a quality assured environment
We are looking for a candidate for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer who has Good experience using Solid Works CAD tool and Ideally a user of FEA packages (ANSY, Workbench or similar)
