Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineer

As a leading provider of engineering and design services, Mavitta are looking for contract Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineers to serve a wide range of industrial sectors. You will be responsible for the design of Jigs, Fixtures and Special Purpose Machinery and the generation of detailed models and drawings suitable for manufacture.
We are looking for motivated, innovative individuals with excellent design, communication and teamwork skills combined with good practical hands-on ability.

The successful candidate will be dynamic with a can do attitude and a strong work ethic.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, detail and project manage turnkey engineering projects, working as part of a team or on an individual basis.
- Working to BS8888 and the Machinery Directive.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:
You will have a Minimum HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. You must be a good communicator with a logical and methodical approach, who is adaptable and flexible with a positive and pro-active attitude.
Proficient with 2D & 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, Catia V5 or Inventor
