Mechanical Aerospace Engineer - Engineer, Yeovil.

DESCRIPTION
Conducting tests as required to verify specification adherence and compiling of reports both formal and informal. Performs design evaluations through test ie life cycle, pressure, climatic exposure, vibration, shock testing.
Prepares and performs tests on systems to validate actual performance against requirements and creates reports to summarise this testing. The test environment encompasses Pneumatics (Hot & Cold), and test simulation of operation at altitude.
Development and qualification of aircraft systems.
Responsible for the development and qualification of components and supporting Aircraft Environmental System Testing.
Ensures milestone schedule adherence by provision of regular reports to immediate manager and instigating corrective action when needed.
Proactively uses the in-house Work Request System (WRS) to maximise efficiency and ensure schedule adherence is achieved. (Training to be provided)
