Maximo/Java Developer

Maximo/JAVA Developer required for a large international client for an initial 8 month contract opportunity based in Dallas, TX

You will be responsible for:

- Prepare technical design based on Functional specifications.
- Configure screens, workflows, information flow
- Develop/extend custom Maximo Business Objects.
- Utilize MIF for Integrate Maximo with external systems and ensure bidirectional movement of data.
- Develop custom classes to support clients requirements.
- Develop custom scripts for business rule enforcement.
- Develop custom Maximo applications.
- Develop/update Maximo reports.
- Able to perform build and deploy Maximo application on WebSphere.

Successful candidates will have strong experience:

- Minimum 2-3 years of Maximo experience which includes Java Customization, XML Customizations, custom CronTask, MBO Customizations, and Maximo configurations (Workflow, Escalations, Automation Scripts, Application Designer, Database Configuration, Communication Templates, Conditional Expression Manager, Security Groups, etc.)
- Technical expert in configuring and customizing the IBM Maximo 7.x version
- Should be well versed in Java customizations for Maximo 7.x version
- 2-3 years of Experience in writing Java Code, debug, test and support utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the application development process.
- Working knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework(MIF)
- Working knowledge of BIRT reporting.
- 2-3 years Experience in SQL/PL/SQL.
