Matlab/Simulink Engineer

Please see below a details for a long term contract role based in America. Ideally they are looking for permanent candidate but do require candidates urgently to work on this new project.

- Must have minimum 10+ year work experience in engine systems/controls
- Expertise in defining system requirements for engine control strategies
- Experience in modelling control system related algorithms using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow/TargetLink based modelling, auto-code generation using E-RTW or TargetLink
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Requirements Management, Change Management and Version Management

DESIRED:

- Expertise in defining engine control architecture, partitioning of features for optimized data flow and Real Time performance
- Expertise in product line architecture approach for complex and time critical systems like engine controls
- Expertise in developing architecture models using tools like SysML/Rhapsody/SystemDesk
- Exposure to architecture standards like EAST-ADL or IEEE 42010
- Familiarity of functional safety concepts and ISO 26262
- Familiarity of AutoSAR Software Architecture and Application Integration is highly desirable

SOFT SKILLS

- Good analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
