Maths Teacher

A large secondary Academy in Nottingham require a Teacher of Maths to begin in September 2014.

The secondary schools, marked by ofsted as good, need a UK Qualified Teacher of Maths (QTS Maths ideally) to join their friendly department. Ideally the successful candidate will be able to start in September 2014 and the role has the potential to extend or even become permanent.

As the successful Maths teacher, you will be pro-active, confident in the classroom, willing to go the extra mile and be able to build positive relationships both with staff and students. You will have previous experience teaching up to GCSE and ideally A Level Maths.

The Requirements:

As the successful Maths Teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
- Have the ability and experience of teaching Maths to KS3,4 and 5
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
