JOB SUMMARY
Mana Education is working with a comprehensive school and is seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher on behalf of one of our "good" schools based in the Peterborough area. This role will be working on Wednesdays and Thursdays only, starting from January 2014 and running for the rest of the term.
The ideal candidate will be a highly qualified and dynamic Teacher of Maths. We are looking for candidates that are committed to raising standards for all pupils.

SCHOOL
A recent Ofsted inspection graded the school as "good". The school provides an outstanding safe and supportive environment. The school plays an important role in the local community. Students enjoy their lessons and are well behaved around the college.
The school has recently had a £10 million refurbishment which was completed earlier in 2013 and certainly has facilities for staff and students fit for the twenty-first century.

The School has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted inspectors who praised the 'strong progress' in all four key areas since their last inspection.

The successful candidate will:
*Be a well-qualified teacher of English with extensive subject knowledge;
*Be able to work as part of a team to raise standards.
*Be able to plan, develop, co-ordinate interesting Maths lessons and teach, assess and monitor in the classroom
