THE SCHOOL AND ROLE

A successful and well run independent school, located in South East London is currently looking to appoint a qualified teacher to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.

The successful candidate will join a highly professional, dedicated and supportive team.

This school is renowned for its supportive atmosphere and has consistently been rated as GOOD/OUTSTANDING BY OFSTED.

Class sizes will be a maximum of 15 students and the role would suit an open minded and committed teacher who is confident with the UK Maths Curriculum at KS4. The successful candidate will also teach ICT to Functional Skills Level 2.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

The successful teacher will be confident teaching Maths and ICT. Most importantly the successful teacher will be the kind of individual WHO IS ENERGETIC, SPORTY AND CRUCIALLY A PERSON WILLING TO HAVE A GO AND MAKE A COMMITMENT. A FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE MANNER is essential and the teacher must also be willing to get fully involved in the day to day running of the school.

Previous experience working in an alternative provision is not essential for this role and both British trained and overseas trained Math teachers will be considered.
