Materials Specialist Job

MATERIALS SPECIALIST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Oceanside, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Receive non-GMP materials and goods.
- Account accurately for items in SAP.
- Receive and Inspect GMP raw material transfers from network sites.
- Raw Material sampling for retest goods when required.
- Proper Gowning within in a clean room complying with developed EM standards.
- Manage GMP Inventory, control materials, issue to manufacturing.
- Package and ship bulk products
- Move and storing cGMP and/or non-cGMP materials.
- Monitor critical equipment information.
- Comply with safety requirements cGMP, SOP and manufacturing documentation.
- Delivering and distributing dispensed material.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory checks and maintain cGMP Inventory.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- HS Diploma and three (3+) years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
- APICS training/experience a plus.
- Familiarity of computer-based systems; SAP and MES experience preferred
- Prior experience in batch making or processing preferred.
- Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Prior training in chemicals/powder handling/dispensing, and good laboratory methods/practices.
- Ability to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement.
- Ability to comply with TSA Federal regulations
