Materials Specialist

Our client is a WORLD-RENOWNED COMPUTER COMPONENTS COMPANY in need of a candidate to support the administration activities for an internal application/tool. This candidate will be supporting the new IVI Automotive Solution Division.

OVERVIEW:

- Keep track of all of the automotive ACOs
- Run Automotive ACOs report daily to ensure the status of these ACOs
- Follow-up with suppliers on incomplete ACCs and drive to completion in a timely manner
- Escalate issues to CS or commodity management if supplier delinquents on completion of ACC
- Drive ACO to accept status - completion of iPN generation process, making changes on MPN/AML as needed for automotive components
- Work horizontally across all commodity from passives to IC Linear/logics.to connectors/PCBs etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2+ years of related work experience
- ACO experience required
- Familiarity with electronics components, ideally automotive compliance
- Experience working with suppliers to collect and obtain components data
- Highly assertive and good communication skills
- Familiarity with PC skills, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word documents preferred
- Familiarity with ACO part number system a plus
- Familiarity with automotive requirements a plus
- Some technical skills and ability to recognize electrical component terms/parameters from the electronic component data sheet a plus
