Materials Planner/Controller

Materials Planner/Controller needed to work based in Fife, Scotland on a 6 month contract.

Responsibilities Include:
 -  Management of stocks of sundry items such as adhesives, shrink films, filter sheets + expediting of comps required to fulfil customer sample/bulk shipment requests
-  Work closely with Stores Teams to manage plant stocks of sundry/non-Bill of Material Comps which are controlled by a re-order point replenishment process. Setting of safety stock levels, placing PO's on suppliers, managing shelf life dates. Expediting comps required to satisfy customer sample requests & bulk shipment orders

Top 4 Accountabilties
-  Customer Service - Manage plant stock levels within limited warehouse capacity to support production plan
-  Customer Service - Strategic planning of supply chain stock in conjunction with supplier
-  Financial - Manage inventory value in supply chain in line with site Dry Goods targets
-  Sample request and bulk shipment comps available to ship in line with customer required by dates
