Materials Manager

Engineering & Construction client is looking for a Site Materials Manager with 7-10+ years of experience supporting heavy industrial EPC projects. Ideal candidate has experience supporting T&D or Substation EPC projects. This is a long term contract assignment near Akron, OH. Mobilization, demobilization, per diem and trips home provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate and prepare materials management, inventory reports and documents to support project requirements
- Receive materials, maintain accurate material inventories and document material receipt information
- Input materials receipt information and inventory data into materials management system
- Provide support for procurement, contract administration, expediting and project controls as required
- Perform physical counts of inventory
- Coordinate materials management issues with contractors, suppliers, clients and project personnel
- Provide support for project close out of excess inventory and accurate project accounting of materials

REQUIREMENTS

- You need 7-10+ years of experience as a Materials Manager or Site Materials Coordinator supporting large, heavy industrial EPC projects
- Any materials management experience supporting large power generation, substation, or Transmission Line EPC projects is a PLUS
- A BS or AS degree is a PLUS
