Materials Controller - Aberdeen - Contract

My Client, a large Oil and Gas operator, is looking for a Materials Controller to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen. Candidates must have experience within the Oil and Gas industry. Strong experience of Materials Cataloguing within this industry is preferred.

The purpose of this position is to provide direct, Real Time support to internal customer base by proactively acting on Material Master requests and associated administration processes on SAP

Responsibilities:
* Provide materials cataloguing services in support of company UK operations
* Build effective working relationships with User groups
* Ensure that all material master requests are completed and processed in accordance with UKMS material mastering process
* Monitor the performance of the originators of material master requests in order to identify deficiencies in the information being supplied.
* Act as a focal point for the business regarding material mastering issues
* Liaise with suppliers on issues relating to material master queries

Essential Skills/Experience:
* Relevant experience gained within the Oil & Gas industry
* Understanding of end to end business processes
* Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP type system
* Good communication skills
