Materials Analyst/Planner - 6 Months FTC

Purpose
To provide analysis on packaging inventory, review stock holding levels and make recommendations to Planners
To generate a suite of accurate and efficient reports from source data
To monitor & manage Slow & Obsolete Stocks
To provide throughput & capacity plans to production sites
To ensure minimal packaging write-off at all points of the packaging supply chain.

Scope
Detailed analysis of all packaging materials for both Andover & Poland manufacturing sites.

The role will be based in Andover with some travel requirements to manufacturing sites.

Scale
The position would involve liaising with a manufacturing base including UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities & Activities
Provide analysis on packaging inventory
Make recommendations on inventory policy to optimise working capital and service performance
Liaise with planners to optimise inventory through forecasting and forward planning 
Maintain inventory levels within agreed targets
Identify slow moving, aging and obsolete items to trigger effective disposition
KPI reporting
