Materials Analyst Job

A MATERIALS ANALYST is needed for a THREE TO SIX (3-6) MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Windsor Locks, CT.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Facilitate and expedite the flow of materials from various suppliers and departments.
- Paying between $23.08 - $29.81 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Deal directly with vendors and manufacturing sites to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locations.
- Interface with purchasing, manufacturing, quality, planning and distribution to improve delivery schedules for critical shortages.
- Host shortage meetings with Repair Centers and provide updated commitments
- Utilize Excel, JD Edwards and other software to research and provide updates to various customers.
- Investigate and mitigate any problems which may be impeding the delivery of product.
- Handle any delivery inconsistencies or delays that may occur.
- Assist in interfacing with other Aircraft Systems divisions to support enterprise wide material shortage/recovery initiatives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree
- two to five (2-5) years of experience equivalent
- Three - Six Month Contract

- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment such as MRP & DRP.
