Material Planner

As a Material Planner for one of Europe's leading airlines based in Luton you will be working as part of a project team.

In this role, you will be required to organise aircraft materials and logistics service in support of the airline's fleet including planning, procurement, repair and freight. In order to achieve this, you will liaise with other stakeholders to ensure all material requirements are captured and planned with the materials of specific activities are pre planned. Several other duties which you may be required to undertake in this role include carrying out IT system data cleansing and stock audits in addition to tactically managing the vendor relationship.

Please note that during the contract transition period, you will be required to assist on-site working at key suppliers so you must be able to travel when required.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills/experience;

- You must be able to manage your time effectively and be competent in your use of enterprise systems and PC applications whilst working in a regulated environment
- It would be advantageous but not essential if you have aviation supply chain experience including the vendor market
- Inventory analysis experience is also desirable
