Yoh has a one (1) year + contract opportunity for a MATERIAL HANDLER/SMALL PARTS in Gloucester, MA.

CLIENT OVERVIEW:

Our client Applied Materials/Varian Semiconductor Equipment is a leading manufacturer of ion implantation systems, powering the Internet, the PC, telecommunications and the information age. Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, Inc. (VSEA) designs, manufactures, and services semiconductor processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits. They are dedicated to meeting the exacting demands of IC production and satisfying the ion implantation needs of IC manufacturers worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:
- Load and/or unloads material, equipment or supplies from trucks or other vehicles.
- Utilizes small hand tools and operates material handling equipment, including skids, pallet handlers, and hand trucks in the process of moving material in/out of loading area and within the warehouse storage facility.
- Interfaces with other functional areas in order to provide information on material status, such as stock balances, coordinate shortages, etc.
- May investigate out of balance conditions.
- Delivers and puts away material to support production lines.
- Assigned duties may require training and certification to operate a fork lift.

Job Qualifications:
- Loading and unloading experience.
- Must be able to use hand tools.
- Forklift experience.
- Warehouse experience.
