Material Handler Job

MATERIAL HANDLER needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in Melbourne, FL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- High school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of four (4) years of experience
- Need Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically with: Access, Excel and spreadsheet formulas)
- Experience with Sunflower or other Asset Tracking software
- Knowledge in Asset tracking and logistics

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Receives, transfers, and issues material in support of Depot activities
- Assists with physical inventories and their reconciliation
- Delivers and picks up material from internal GCSD Programs
- Uses PC to update and review inventory records
- Operate manual transmission vehicles, forklifts, and manual material handling equipment
- Operates PC's for data entry into various inventory databases

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good communication skills and the ability to be a team player to work closely with other teammates
- Self-starter with general supervision
- Experience with Sunflower or other Asset Tracking software
- Knowledge in Asset tracking and logistics

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Additional knowledge in Asset tracking and logistics is a plus
- Knowledge of material handling and stockroom knowledge is a plus
