Material Handler

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a MATERIAL HANDLER to join our client in Austin, TX.

JOB OVERVIEW:
- This temporary/contract position is up to 24 months.
- Pay Range: Day shift is $11.00 per hour and the night shift is $12.00 per hour.
- NOTE: 12 HOUR SHIFTS WORKING ON AN ALTERNATING SCHEDULE OF 36 HOURS ONE WEEK AND 48 HOURS THE NEXT WEEK. DAY SHIFT 6:00 AM-6:00 PM, NIGHT SHIFT 6:00 PM-6:00 AM.

Job Responsibilities:
- The primary focus of work will be on material handling and material logistics. Ordering, receiving, inspection, delivering, pickup and recycle are all aspects of the material handler position.
- The MEGASYS® Material Handler will work on 8 or 12 hour shift without supervision, acquire a fundamental knowledge of Specialty Gas and Chemical Products.
- The position will expand to bulk gas and chemical receiving and will include basic operation for liquid transfer set up.
- The material handler will use ISO Quality Management and be able to communicate effectively using written and verbal skills. Basic computer skills are a requirement for the job.

Job Qualifications:
- Must be a strong team player and willing to work rotating shifts, on-call schedule, holidays, weekends or off shifts. Willing to perform physical labor which is generally associated with cylinder and drum movements.
- Previous forklift and pallet jack experience is desirable.
- A Fit for Duty Evaluation will be required: occasional lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs., frequent movements like bending, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulders, pushing & pulling, exposure to changes in temperature/humidity and wearing protective equipment like respirator visit our website to learn both about our company and about our leading workforce solutions.
